Azerbaijani Cyrillic Language
The Azerbaijani Cyrillic alphabet is a variant of the Cyrillic script used to write the Azerbaijani language. It was developed in 1918 by Chingiz Mustafayev and was in official use from November 19, 1928 to June 4, 1940, when it was replaced by a Latin alphabet. The Azerbaijani language is written in a variant of the Perso-Arabic script that has not changed much since the 10th century.
