Spanish Language

Spanish is the official language of Spain, Mexico and many other countries. It is spoken by around 400 million people in more than 50 countries. The Spanish language developed from Vulgar Latin as it was being spread by Roman soldiers and colonists across the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal). It is closely related to Catalan and Galician, Portuguese and Italian languages.
